Come Back To Camp In The Fall, Winter, and Spring!
Our Challenge Retreats are like no other: they started because we simply missed our campers during the cooler months. We created Challenge Retreats and Mini Weekends to give Challenge Campers and their friends a chance to reconnect over their favorite camp activities during the fall, winter, and spring. Challenge Retreats motivates campers to be active and participate in popular camp activities (though at a slower pace than our Summer Challenge Camps.) Mini Weekends let campers set the schedule, focusing on relaxation and connection with others. Both retreat styles offer Challenge Campers a chance to come back to Innabah and step out of their usual daily routine.
Camper Requirements
Challenge Retreats and Mini Weekends are designed for youth and adults with intellectual disabilities.Innabah staff and facilities are equipped to help campers enjoy activities at an appropriate pace and difficulty level. However, all campers need to be ambulatory, toilet capable (independent in all aspects of elimination) and able to shower and care for personal needs independently.

Challenge Retreats welcome campers back to Innabah to enjoy weather-appropriate camp activities such as arts and crafts, games in the gymnasium, and sling-shots. This weekend is highly structured with scheduled activities and time to reconnect with other campers. We move at a slower pace than our Summer Challenge Camp, but we still encourage campers to try a wide variety of activities. This is the perfect way for your active camper to get out of their typical cold-weather routine and enjoy some active time outdoors (weather-permitting.)

Innabah’s Challenge Mini Weekends are a cozy reunion of Challenge Camp friends. Mini Weekends provide a relaxed setting for 12 campers to enjoy some of their favorite activities in a beautiful setting and among their friends and counselors. These weekends are unstructured, letting the campers pick the activities for the day. If playing board games, watching movies, taking walks, and doing arts and crafts is their thing, this will be a perfect weekend for your camper.
