camper in leadership training (cilt)

encouraging tomorrow’s leaders

CILT program is meant for ages 14-17

Our camper in Leadership Training (CILT) program will help your 14-17 year-old camper develop important leadership skills and abilities as they continue to grow into the person God has created them to be. Our specially-honed training will encourage campers to look for ways they can grow in their personal gifts as well as in their relationship with Jesus. In this program, your young adult camper will be asked to stretch in their leadership, and to serve the camp in meaningful ways.

Training Day: TBD

Cost: $100 per summer week

Applications for CILT are due by June 1, 2024. The Training Day is mandatory for all CILTs and runs from 9 am through 5 pm. You will receive vital information during this time, including information about expectations, responsibilities, and camp activities. Returning CILTs do not need to attend Training Day, but they should still fill out an application for the summer.

CILT Requirements

We want to be a part of developing young Christian leaders, and we look forward to helping each person discover skills that will help them for the rest of their lives. There are a few requirements before joining the CILT program.

CILTs must be approved for the program and complete the training. Through their participation of the CILT program, we hope your camper will be able to serve at least one or two weeks during the summer with our overnight camp sessions.

Why CILT at Innabah?

Innabah Camp and Retreat Center has played a role in campers’ lives for nearly 100 years. We are steeped in the culture of our area, and we understand the needs of teens who are looking to grow. Our CILT program gives them a taste of what it means to step up as a servant leader, as well as the foundations of how to be a young adult who is Christ-centered. Campers are able to learn professional skills in a fun atmosphere with supportive staff and beautiful surroundings. They will receive opportunities to grow in their work ethic and perform activities that will add to any college application or future resume.

“My children have made such amazing bonds with not only their fellow campers, but also the staff. It is like an extended family for them.”
